Davisware New Product Release to the PEI Industry
|
Las Vegas, NV—November 5, 2009—At the 2009 PEI at the NACS Show, Davisware, introduced two NEW products. Global Warranty and CFESA Global Trade. Davisware Global Warranty is an electronic on-line application that is customizable to fit your needs and requirements of virtually any warranty process. Davisware Global Warranty enables service agents to submit warrantee claims without any expensive, redundant duplicate entry. It reduces costs of warrantee claim processing for the manufacturer by eliminating repeat processing due to improperly submitted claims and pricing discrepencies. Eliminate expensive electronic parts manual subscriptions by using Davisware GlobalEdge Document Imaging. You can eliminate paper-related inefficiencies and lack of the data you need when you need it. Global Trade is a universal market place design specifically for the CFESA (Commercial Food Equipment Service Association) industry. CFESA Global Trade members are able to upload OEM parts, inventory, including obsolete overstocks. CFESA Global Trade users are then able to use the powerful inventory search engines to locate hard to find parts. Look ups can be done by manufacturer, item number, description, item code, or even equipment models number. Once located users are able to see the location of the part, the quantity in stock in any CFESA Global Trade pricing available. With a simple click of a mouse, users are provided contact information or even redirected to the service agents website. Service agencies with CFESA Global Trade as their backend business application have the added benefit of automatic posting of part orders including on hand verification, availability of credit and additional pricing discounts if applicable. Both products were featured in the Product News section of the Petrol Plaza website for new products and innovation. |
|
WEST DUNDEE, Illinois—March, 31, 2007--This month was an exciting
one for Davisware.! The company announced
earlier this month that Karen Briggs has accepted a position with the company as
a Customer Account Manager. In 1995 Karen began working for a local commercial painting
contractor who utilitized the Davisware Software. She began working closely with
the staff at
Davisware to improve and expand the product to meet her company’s needs.
Several years later, Jennifer Davis came to her and demonstrated the new GlobalEdge
software, which was still in its infancy. Karen’s employer quickly saw the value
of the upgraded software and with Karen’s consent became a beta test side of the
yet unnamed Davisware GlobalEdge on a beta basis. Karen became very familiar with
the architecture and functionality of the new software and was instrumental in input
she gave as an end-user of the software. In February of 2007, she decided to leave
her position with the contractor. After a short period of employment in an unrelated
industry, she contacted
Davisware to inquire about what role she could service for the
company. She was offered her current position with
Davisware. She is excited to work for
a company in which she believed in and is proud to be part of the development. Karen’s
position with
Davisware includes GlobalEdge testing and troubleshooting (including working
with the off-shore development staff), documentation development, project management
for those customers migrating from character
Davisware to GlobalEdge, managing the installation
of GlobalEdge for new customers, and answering questions and general customer service
for current customers. She is excited with the opportunity for growth and variety
that this position offers to her. Karen was born and raised in the south suburban
Chicago area. Her husband Randy and she currently live in Plainfield, Illinois with
their daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, home fix-up projects and doing
computer work. Karen has the professional training and experience to help the company
grow. Karen’s addition marks a new role for
Davisware as a company as our first full time
in-house support member. She is integral in the support of both the customer and
the developers and is hoping to make a huge impact in filling those gaps.
